NGOs actually fundraise 12

The problem
Most donation platforms were built for retail, not for grant cycles
Off-the-shelf tools handle payments. What they don’t handle is the operational reality of running a fundraising programme inside an NGO — board reporting, restricted fund tracking, volunteer-driven campaigns, and the compliance requirements that come with 80G, FCRA, or 501(c)(3) tax receipting.
The result is NGOs stitching together three or four tools that don’t talk to each other, and a finance team exporting spreadsheets every month.
What we hear from NGO leaders
— Payment gateway processes the donation — but donor communication is still manual
— No recurring giving infrastructure — every campaign restarts from zero
—Donor data lives in a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts
— Quarterly funder reports have to be assembled by hand
— US or UK-based donors can’t give easily — currency and tax receipt friction
— Campaign microsites get rebuilt from scratch each time
Every component your fundraising programme needs
Built as a unified platform — not a patchwork of tools. Each module is designed
around the constraints NGO teams actually work with.
Recurring giving infrastructure
Monthly, quarterly and annual giving with automated payment retries, donor communication and lapsed-donor reactivation. Set it up once — it runs continuously.
Donor segmentation & CRM
Segment by giving level, geography, campaign or cause area. Build donor journeys that convert one-time givers into recurring supporters over months, not years.
Campaign microsite builder
Branded campaign pages — match campaigns, anniversary drives, crisis appeals — without developer involvement. Live counters, share mechanics, reusable templates.
Grant-compatible reporting
Restricted vs unrestricted fund tracking, donor-wise giving history, 80G and FCRA-compatible records — so your finance team isn’t assembling reports from scratch every quarter.
Multi-currency & global giving
Accept donations from India, the US, UK and Canada with appropriate tax receipting for each geography. Built for diaspora NGOs and organisations with international donor bases.
Integrations & data portability
Connects with Zoho CRM, Tally, WhatsApp Business and your existing payment gateways — Razorpay, Stripe, PayU. Your donor data stays yours, fully exportable.
Client outcome · 9-year partnership
From $1–2M per year to $30M in a single crisis period
One of our longest-standing clients came to us with a functional but fragile fundraising operation — manual donor records, no recurring giving infrastructure, and a website that couldn’t handle campaign traffic spikes.
Over nine years, we rebuilt their digital fundraising infrastructure from the ground up. By the time COVID created an urgent need for large-scale fundraising, the platform was ready.
The $30M was not luck. It was the result of nine years of building donor relationships on infrastructure designed for exactly that moment.

Common questions
What NGO leaders ask us
Do you build on top of existing tools like Razorpay or Stripe, or is this a fully custom platform?
Both — depending on your scale and requirements. For most Indian NGOs we integrate with Razorpay or CCAvenue as the payment layer and build the donor management, campaign and reporting infrastructure around it. For organisations with more complex needs we build a fully custom platform. We recommend the right approach after understanding your donor volume, reporting requirements and existing systems.
We already have a CRM. Can you integrate with it rather than replacing it?
Yes. We have integrated donation platforms with Zoho CRM, Salesforce Nonprofit (NPSP) and custom systems. If your team is already working in a CRM, the donation platform feeds into it — you don’t start over.
How long does it take to build and deploy?
A standard platform with recurring giving, campaign pages and basic reporting typically takes 6–10 weeks from scope confirmation to go-live. More complex builds with multi-currency, custom donor journeys or deep CRM integration take 12–16 weeks. We have also delivered emergency campaign platforms in under two weeks when the situation required it.
What happens after the platform goes live — do you provide ongoing support?
Yes. Our average client relationship is 7–8 years for a reason. We provide ongoing technical support, feature additions as your programme grows, and campaign-specific development when you need it. The $30M fundraise happened in year nine of a partnership — not year one.
Is this suitable for a small or early-stage NGO?
We work with organisations at every stage — from teams of five building their first digital fundraising infrastructure to organisations managing lakhs of donors and millions in annual receipts. We scope and price based on what you actually need. The starting conversation is a demo, not a proposal.
